Daisypath Anniversary Years Ticker

I am an English teacher at the high school level. Jeff teaches English to college students at Snow College here in Ephraim.

We have a 14 year old daughter and have been married for 22 years. This is my 19th year teaching English in Central Utah. This is Jeff's 26th year teaching college students. I did my student teaching in the inner city of Chicago. I am also a full-time student at the University of Utah in SLC working on my master's degree. I was one class shy of finishing fifteen years ago, so I have started over. I have put the master's degree on hold again. It was causing some difficulties in my life.

My husband and I met on a geology fieldtrip to the St. Francois Mts. near St. Louis, MO during the week break between winter and spring quarters at UIC in 1988. We have passed our love of rocks on to our daughter. The vacations we do take tend to be places with interesting geologic features.

We are also cat lovers. We currently have two seven year old females: Greymalkin a fat grey tabby , and Alice a part Himalayan. We had three others: Mack who passed away Jan. 2002 at the age of 15, her son Eddie Munster who died of cancer in Feb. 2005 at the age of 17 yrs. and 4 months, and Rocky who died Feb. 9, 2009 at the age of 15 yrs. and 10 months. During the Christmas holidays of 2010 the temperature dropped to negative numbers and we had 3 feet of snow, a marmalade male cat who has been hanging around for the last six or so years, managed to make it to our deck. I couldn't bear the thought of him going through the snow for food when I had some in the kitchen. We have been feeding him ever since. I named him Attila some years ago. Now we have three cats to feed.
